META | Museo diffuso Costa d’Amalfi

META è il primo museo multimediale diffuso sul territorio che prova a raccontare i paesi della Costa d’Amalfi. Un racconto attraverso quattordici luoghi, restituiti al pubblico e riallestiti in una nuova configurazione risultato di indagine storica, invenzione artistica e ricerca tecnologica. Un modo di immaginare la costiera che ne riverbera il mistero e la seduzione esercitata da sempre su abitanti e viaggiatori. E un modo di tornare a casa, nella terra dove fioriscono i limoni e le sirene continuano a cantare. Per tutti quelli che nel progresso della storia avvertono ancora il lontano richiamo del mito.

“META” is the first multimedia museum in the area that endeavors to tell the stories of towns located along the Amalfi Coast. It is an account told through fourteen locations that have been restored to the public and remodeled into a new exhibition that is the result of historical investigation, artistic invention and technological research. It is a manner of imagining the coast reverberates with the power of mystery and seduction it has always held over inhabitants and travelers alike. It is a way of returning home to the land where lemon trees bloom and mermaids continue to sing, for all of those who throughout the course of history still feel the distant call of legends.
